Can you spot a SCAM? If you want to know what the tell-tale signs of a scam are we will guide you through the things to look out for so you can sanity-check an offer yourself, before handing over your hard earned cash…

Of course whilst there are scams out there, and they are to be avoided and exposed for what they truly are, it’s also good to remember we’ve entered an era where it’s possible for perfectly good products/offers/companies to be accused of being a scam, or being something other than professional, based on no sound rationale what-so-ever.

It only takes 'one person with malicious intentions' in a world where everybody has 'keyboard power' but only the vendors are accountable, and the ‘blotting of the copy book’ commences...

Before the internet, people with a gripe would go to the newspapers or the TV and HAVE to PROVE they had a point that needed airing. If they did, fair enough, it got coverage and the vendor's reputation suffered. Whereas now, anybody can anonymously say anything at all they want to without a shred of evidence or proof and other people believe it as fact when it could just be deranged rantings or sour grapes.

Fortunately many people now realise this but there are plenty clinging to quite medieval concepts that 'obviously' so and so must have done something, as he wouldn't have been accused otherwise!!!!

And this got me thinking, maybe there’s a need to start a campaign for 'Internet Accountability'...
